Homegroups and Prayer Meetings

Find out more about

Small Groups

Getting together to pray and encourage one another during the week is vital to a healthy church. One of our priorities here in Lenton Parish is to increase the number of small groups and the number of people belonging to small groups. There are also plenty of opportunities to meet to pray on a regular basis.

Homegroups

Homegroups provide a more informal time to study God's word, to encourage discussion and debate, and a chance to pray together, within a home environment. Please contact us for more details and venues.

Prayer Meetings

Central Prayer Meetings

htl (Holy Trinity) and Priory Church members often meet together to pray about issues that affect our church, Lenton, and Nottingham. Every six weeks members of both htl and the Priory unite at a central place for prayer. These prayer meetings are colourful, interactive, multimedia and relevant. They are usually organised in turn by the homegroups.

Prayers in the Park

Every few weeks a group of people meet during the afternoon to pray at the home of Frank Wright in The Park, Nottingham. Meetings are advertised in the Welcome Sheet and on the This Week page. For further details, please contact us.

24/7 and seasonal prayer

Watch out for the 24/7 prayer gatherings throughout the year. There are also ad hoc prayer events e.g. Tabernacles, Lent etc. organised throughout the year. Venues and focus will be advertised

Thursday mornings at the Priory Church

A traditional but brief service of Morning Prayer is held on three Thursday mornings every month. Holy Communion is held once a month. These services begin at 10.15am and people of all ages are welcome.
